THE EAST CONFERENCE LAY ORG. IS FEATURED IN AN HISTORICAL VIDEO PRESENTATION!
Immediate past East Conference President Brother Joseph S. Coppock, Jr. and preceding presidents, were introduced to the attendants of our Awards Banquet at the Crown Plaza Riverfront Hotel. The video presentation includes information from 1946 through 2008, as we celebrate 60 official years. The present East Conference President is Brother Aaron Jones, Jr; he is introduced near the end. The East Conference and St. Paul AMEC, Jacksonville, hold three positions at the Episcopal District level of The Lay Organization: Sister Christine Garner Atkinson, our local President, is the Financial Secretary, Sister Angela Surcey Garner is the Director of Public Relations, and Sister Loretta Coppock is Director of Programs & Activities. At the East Conference level as Corresponding Secretary: Sister Maria Pearson Cole. The re-elected President of the 11th Episcopal District Lay Organization is Charlie Nichols of the Florida Conference.
